1972 BUICK GS
The Buick project started in 2005. My son, Scott, wanted to restore a 1971 Buick Riviera to drive to school. We started by rebuilding the 455 engine and next went to the body. We seen realized the body was too far gone to bring back. I wanted to find a suitable body for the engine and eventually located the 1972 Buick GS near Fairfield, Iowa. The GS was missing the engine, transmission and rear end. It was a perfect fit! We enjoy cruising around the lake and stopping at the Viking Drive-in for ice cream.
